Born in New Orleans and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Michael attended Tulane University for both his undergraduate and law degrees. He received his bachelor’s degree from Tulane in 2020, and then went on to receive his J.D. and Certificate of Concentration in Maritime Law from Tulane University Law School in 2023. During law school, Michael was a member of the Maritime Law Journal and externed for the Honorable Wendy Vitter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. 

As a member of the Murphy Rogers team, Michael’s practice includes the areas of maritime personal injury defense, maritime collision defense, vessel allisions and casualty investigations, general casualty and insurance litigation, contractual dispute and interpretation and prosecution, property damage prosecution, and workers’ compensation.

Michael is a member of the Louisiana Bar association, as well as the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He is also a member of the Tulane Law School American Inn of Court and the Kappa Alpha Order.
